Role Responsibilities
As a school-based SLP, youll assess students with communication delays, implement treatment plans that support IEP goals, and collaborate with other specialists and educators to ensure student growth. Youll play a key role in helping students express themselves and engage confidently in their learning.
Louisiana Requirements
You must:

Hold a current Louisiana SLP license through the Louisiana Board of Examiners

Have a masters in Speech-Language Pathology

Complete a clinical fellowship (if not already ASHA certified)

Pass required background and district checks
